I specialize in working with First Responders and their spouses or partners to rebuild connection, improve communication, and restore trust.

As a Christian counselor and am a Gottman trained couples therapist, I integrate faith-based principles (when desired) with practical, evidence-based tools to help couples and individuals strengthen resilience and heal from the impact of the job—without having to explain the culture.

I bring a deep understanding of First Responder culture through my service in the U.S. Navy, over 20 years as a pastor, and work as a corrections chaplain. Coming from a law enforcement family, I offer insight and compassion for those who serve and the challenges they face.

My heart for service, combined with my training, makes me a strong resource for individuals, couples, and families looking for both faith-based and evidence-based approaches.

You serve others every day. It’s okay to take time to serve your own heart, your marriage, and your faith.

Children and teens often express what they feel through behavior long before they can put it into words. Drawing on my background in Child Protective Services (CPS), collaboration with law enforcement, and specialized training in forensic interviewing, I understand how trauma and stress impact children and families at every level.

Using play therapy and trauma-informed approaches, I help children safely process difficult experiences while supporting parents in rebuilding connection, communication, and stability at home. While I work with the general public, I have a special focus on serving First Responder families, understanding the unique pressures and emotional challenges that come with the job.

As a bilingual counselor (English & Spanish), I offer culturally responsive care so families can communicate and heal in the language that feels most natural. Together, we’ll work toward greater understanding, calm, and hope within your home.
